By accessing or using the Website you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Website.

1.1 The Website is a passive informational platform maintained strictly within the limits of Rule 36 of the Bar Council of India Rules (as amended on 14 March 2008).
1.2 No content on the Website constitutes, or is intended to constitute, legal advice, solicitation, advertisement, or an offer to render legal services.
1.3 The Website provides general information about the areas of practice, qualifications, and publications of Corpus Lawyers and its members, and such further information as may be permitted under applicable professional rules.
2. No Attorney-Client Relationship
2.1 Your access to or use of the Website, including any transmission of information through the contact form, email address, or telephone number listed on the Website, does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship between you and Corpus Lawyers or any of its members.
2.2 An attorney-client relationship is formed only upon execution of a written engagement letter, after a conflict-of-interest check has been completed and terms of engagement mutually agreed.
2.3 You are requested not to transmit confidential, privileged, or sensitive information through the Website prior to formal engagement. Any such information voluntarily transmitted may not be treated as confidential.
3. Permitted Use
3.1 You may access the Website for lawful personal, informational, and non-commercial purposes.
3.2 You may print, download, and share a single copy of an article, case commentary, or publication for your own reference or for non-commercial circulation with appropriate attribution to Corpus Lawyers and a link to the source page, provided you do not alter or remove any copyright, attribution, or disclaimer notices.
3.3 Any other use, including reproduction, republication, reverse engineering, data mining, automated scraping (including by Large Language Models or training pipelines), systematic downloading, or framing of the Website or its contents, is prohibited without our prior written consent.

4.1 use the Website in any manner that violates any applicable law or regulation, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder;

4.3 interfere with or disrupt the Website, its security features, or the servers and networks on which it is hosted, including by denial-of-service attacks, brute-force login attempts, or transmission of malicious code;

5.2 References to statutes are to official text, copyright in which vests with the Government of India; references to judgments are to court-published text, copyright in which vests with the respective courts. Third-party materials, where cited, remain the property of their rights-holders.
5.3 No licence, express or implied, is granted to you in respect of any Content except as expressly set out in Clause 3.2 above.

The Website may contain links to third-party websites for informational convenience. Corpus Lawyers does not control and is not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of such third-party websites. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.
7. User Submissions
7.1 If you submit information through a contact form, comment field, or similar feature, you represent and warrant that the information is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
7.2 You grant Corpus Lawyers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to retain and process such submissions solely for the purpose of responding to your query and for audit-trail compliance under applicable data-protection law.

13.3 Nothing in this Clause shall prevent Corpus Lawyers from applying to any court of competent jurisdiction for interim, injunctive, or equitable relief, including relief in respect of unauthorised use of the Website, scraping, or infringement of intellectual property.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
